Martzen Studio located at 115 S. L St., Dinuba has the Martzen Exhibit featuring original photos from the 40s through the 90s of the Sierra Nevadas, as well as historical prints of the area. Negatives dating from the 30s, portraiture and scenics of Dinuba, Orosi, Orange Cove and Reedley area. Montgomery Square Art Mall in downtown Visalia, will host “First Saturday Art Fest” every 1st Saturday of the month, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.. There will be various arts and crafts booths within Montgomery Square, located at 208 W. Main St., Visalia. For more information call 624-0400 or 733-1981.

The Clark Center for Japanese Art and Culture in Hanford will have an exhibit titled “Traces of China: The Japanese Transformation of Chinese Themes and Techniques” through August 2. The Gallery is open between 1 - 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. For more information call 582-4915.

Courthouse Gallery of the Arts presents “Nature’s Kaleidoscope” featuring three Tulare County artists, John Crowley, Steven Louis Ball and Thomas Booth. The exhibit will hang until June 29. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. weekends.

May 17 & 18 - The 47th Annual Sequoia Foothills Art Show encourages area artists to participate whether amateur or professional. Hanging art including photography, and sculpture, gourd art, kinetic art and more is welcome. The Art Show is held at the Springville Veterans Memorial Building, 35944 Highway 190 from 10 - 4 Saturday and Sunday. Arts Visalia at 214 E. Oak in Visalia has and exhibit featuring the works of Eric Gonzales (graffiti) and Victor Cervantes (street art). The exhibit runs April 30 - May 30. For more infomation call 739-0905.

The Creative Center’s Jon Ginsburg Gallery presents “Land and Sea EsCapes” featuring two-dimensional, mixed media art created by The Creative Center studio artists. You will want to “escape” to the beautiful scenery of each landscape and seascape being showcased. Featured student artist is Daphne Newman. Guest artist is Donna Coleman from Visalia.
