Tulare County - The Third Annual “People's Choice Physician of the Year” celebration, sponsored by Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia, is fast approaching.

The award honors outstanding physicians in the Visalia community
This event will be held in honor of National Doctor's Day, which is on March 30 every year. On March 27, Prestige Assisted Living at Visalia, will host a celebration honoring physicians for the wonderful jobs they do and announce the “2008 People's Choice Physician of the Year.” A proclamation recognizing the winner will be presented by Mayor Jesus Gamboa on that day.

There are many deserving, outstanding doctors in our community, but only one will earn this honorable title. The winner of this award will be determined by the community's votes and the information provided. Prestige Assisted Living is asking the community to let them know what makes their doctor worthy of winning this award.

Every day, doctors work long hours to care for and treat their patients. Although the service and care they provide is appreciated, the recognition they deserve is not always given. This is a way of taking the opportunity to do so.

Ballots are available for people to vote for their doctor to be the recipient of this award. You have the opportunity to vote, and contribute to his/her recognition for all the service and care they have provided.

Voters must complete the ballot and hand deliver or mail to, the address above. (Ballots will not be accepted directly from any doctor's office staff. Only individuals voting can submit them.)

The winner is chosen based on votes and feedback on the ballots.
